I have finally begun reading the last of this trilogy. I haven't had very much time to read. I do recall a friend telling me that the quality of the trilogy declined with each book.

The Paratwa didn't completely live up to the quality of the first book. There were a few twists and turns I didn't expect, especially leading up to the climax. The ending, while not totally resolved, ended about how I would expect Hinz to leave a good story...in an unexpected manor.
It's too bad Hinz has never returned to writing. I would really liked to have seen how his style would have developed and grown over time.
