February 14, 2008
I have just added a comment system to the booklist. This will allow website visitors to submit comments on any of the books I have added to the booklist.
February 10, 2008
I decided to fully expand the website navigation menu throughout the entire website, rather than have it expand when visitors enter specific areas.
February 3, 2008
I have added a discussion forum. It will be primarily for my booklist area, but I'll be opening it up to other areas topics soon.
January 29, 2008
I have finished applying the layout changes to the entire website now.
January 23, 2008
I am in the process of applying a consistant look throughout the website. As a result, some areas may not look the same as others. I hope to finish this process this weekend.

I have not had any time to work on content for this web site in recent weeks. That includes book, dvd, and other content that I had intended to update more often. My time constraints should improve once the ExploreCharleston.net web site goes live next month.

There is now a guestbook available

Historically, my primary photo gallery has not been kept unlinke, because I didn't want the images 'stolen.' The new Gallery software added a watermarking function that lets me 'mark' all of the photos in a non-destructive way. It currently has over 2100 photographs, including my travels to Europe and our trips to Charleston, SC. Enjoy!

I discovered that the Contact Me page had broken at some point. I've fixed the problem. If You've tried to contact me recently, please try again.
October 5, 2007
Please pardon the color and background changes. I am experimenting with color arrangements.
September 23, 2007
I'm happy to announce that the Charleston site is now available through its new website: www.ExploreCharleston.net
September 17, 2007
I've mostly wrapped up the deployment of new website. I'm now focusing on developing the content in the book reviews, DVD reviews, and Explore Charleston areas.
September 4, 2007
The database that drives the Charleston Information site has now reached 65 locations! That includes restaurants, tours, tour companies, beaches, historic homes, plantations, special attractions, festivals, events, shops and galleries. We will begin adding detailed commentary for these, plus add up to another 2 dozen locations over the next several weeks.
I will also be taking a number of photographs during our Halloween trip to Charleston. These will be incorporated into the site as we continue to develop it.
September 1, 2007
I've modified the overall navigation bar. Again. I think this is going work much better.
I'm still building Explore Charleston. it's coming along nicely, but won't be ready for public consumption for many more weeks.
August 22, 2007
The first version of the DVD Review section is up. I've still got to fill out review information on a number of the DVDs.
August 17, 2007
I've been performing various bits of spring cleaning over the last week to tighten up some of the code that drives the web site. I found time to revive the DVD Review area and hope to have that back within the next week.
August 9, 2007
I have added a teaser page for the upcoming Charleston, SC travel information page.
After a lot of though, I have decided not to continue developing the DVD Review section. It has been removed for now, but I may consider reviving it after the Charleston area is developed.
August 8, 2007
I have restructured the menu throughout the web site. I wasn't very happy with the length of the overall menu, so I consolidated some areas and built smaller, secondary menus into the About Me and Booklist sections.
I have started expanding the About Me section to include favorite quotes, my philosophy, and a blog. My resume and Contact Me were also moved to that section.
August 6, 2007
I created a site map and modified the Contact Me page to work with the new site.
August 5, 2007
I have redesigned my entire web site from scratch!
This will allow me to publish updates and add new content more quickly, but more importantly, it will allow me to make future modifications to the entire site much easier. Several of the areas are generated dynamically as you navigate the site.
